STEP 2 – FAMILY CALL
Schedule a 1:1 call with a founder.
This no-pressure conversation is your chance to learn more about our program and share your child’s story. Together, we’ll explore whether Visionary Leadership Academy is a great fit.

We serve students in grades 5 –12.

Our microschool is based in Jacksonville, Florida. Final location details will be shared soon.

We are now open and still enrolling for this School Year.

VLA is built on a healing-first philosophy. We focus on emotional wellness, trauma-informed care, personalized learning, and leadership development—especially for students who haven’t thrived in traditional school environments.

A microschool is a small, student-centered learning community designed to offer flexibility, personalized instruction, and strong relationships. Our model allows us to truly get to know each student and meet their unique needs. VLA maintains a low student-to-staff ratio to ensure that every learner receives the personalized support and attention they deserve.

Each day includes morning wellness routines, multiple academic blocks, mindfulness and reflection time, creative expression, and service learning. Fridays are reserved for enrichment, including guest speakers, field experiences, and emerging tech like AI and virtual reality.

Families may choose between our 5-day Thrive Track or 3-day Grow Track. Both options include healing-centered routines and academic support. The Thrive Track includes full participation in enrichment days and leadership development.

Thanks to Florida’s universal school choice program, many families can use state scholarships to cover most or all tuition. We will help guide families through the process.
